Wordpress Plugin: JR NoFollow
Welcome to the release of my JR NoFollow Wordpress Plugin.
Description
This plugin allows you to enable/disable the nofollow tag on your comments.
You have the option to disable nofollow on the website url field links, as well as disabling it for links in the comment body field.
This will allow you to reward your users for commenting on your blog by providing them with a DoFollow link, so it should help you to gain more comments.
Installation
1. Upload `jr_nofollow.php` to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
3. Edit the JR NoFollow Settings in your Administration Panel
4. Done!

Hi Jake, just wondering how this nofollow plugin is any different than the 14 plugins that already do this.. (and much more)
I want to review your plugin and include it in my WordPress nofollow reference, but I need to know if it is unique or different in any way.
Thanks

Jeff: Yeah, I do realise that there is quite a lot of plugins for this sort of thing, but I’m trying to make as many small, useful plugins as possible
Feel free to review my plugin. As with all of the plugins I create, I normally start off very basic and then develop it with new features over time. I’ve just released version 1.1.0 of this plugin, which allows you to have DoFollow only on certain websites, as well as only on comments from specific IP Addresses.
I’m sure over time I’ll be making improvements to it, too

I have a question. I have SEO for FireFox active on my machine, and even after applying your plugin, the links on my Wordpress blog are still showing up as no-follow (i.e. highlighted in RED). However, I did notice that, from inside the dashboard itself, the link on the initial post that shows up when you start a blog changed from RED to un-highlighted after installing it. That tells me it did something, but I’m not sure why the blog itself is still full of RED highlighting indicating nofollow links. Any ideas? I appreciate your help!

It seems the plugin doesn’t work with WP 2.9
Setting: Links in Posts are…NoFollow
But the links are still follow. Any solution?

btw…can you expand the exceptions filter to links in post? That would be awesome!
